Member Enrollment and
Authorization Form
What is Simply Giving
Simply Giving is an automated giving program designed to help you
conveniently and consistently contribute to your Congregation. Through Simply Giving, your gifts are
made through a pre-authorized withdrawal from your bank account or credit card. You determine the frequency of your
automatic gift—weekly, semi-monthly or monthly—the option is yours. Your gift or payment is deposited
into Good Shepherd’s account on the same day it is withdrawn from your
account—at no cost to you or the church.
Simply Giving Benefits You
Simply Giving is a safe and reliable program that allows you to
determine your level of giving. You
fill out the paper work and Simply Giving carries out your instructions for you. This automated program helps you grow
in generosity by helping you plan your giving to Good Shepherd. It serves you by helping you stay
current with your offerings. No
longer will you need to “catch-up” at year-end or worry about forgotten
offerings.
Simply Giving Benefits Good Shepherd
Simply Giving helps Good Shepherd fund its important work. The more people use it, the more
secure Good Shepherd becomes. It
costs nothing for the church to receive your gifts through Simply Giving. It costs nothing for the giver to
use. Yet, it helps us as a community
be stronger through regular giving.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans offers Simply Giving to further its mission of
serving Lutheran Congregations and institutions.
How to Begin Using Simply Giving
Signing up for Simply Giving is easy.
Complete the “Simply Giving Member Enrollment and Authorization Form” using black ink, attach a voided check or a savings deposit slip to it and
return the signed form to the church office in an envelope on which you have
written “Simply Giving.” You can
mail the form to the church or place it in the offering plate on a Sunday
morning.
